Peace Across the Moons
A downloadable game
One of the decisions that immediately captivated me upon reading through the Ashcan edition of Realis (Produced by Austin Walker, and Published by Possible Worlds Games) was its capabilities for telling stories completely outside the typical beliefs of what an 'Adventurer party' is: a group of people who break the law and commit acts of violence in order to serve their own ends.
Realis is a game to explore stories of religious pilgrims, inquisitive philosophers, gaudy rock bands, and so much more. My driving principle in this project was to create Moons (and Moon Sentences) that naturally inspire and encourage drama for these sorts of stories.
This project started as my own GM prep and was released as part of the Realis Moon Jam by Hamhambone. Thank you for giving me the push I needed to formalize my ideas into something I'm proud to show off! (Though there is, of course, always more I would like to add.)
Whether for a beach-episode long reprieve from duty or a campaign that weaves non-violence into its very foundations, it is my great hope that these moons inspire you to find conflict and tension in non-violent sources. For it is with words, not weapons, that you will Make Realis Yours.

I really like Zhobal and The Unknown God's Mausoleum. Cry is an interesting impulse.
Realis really gives you a wide palette of the kinds of characters/games you can play and this is a really fun set of moons for stretching that. I can see it working as something you build your entire campaign around, or a moon you have your band stop on to get them out of their element and remind them there's more to life than swinging swords around. Cabaret moon seems like an especially fun place to set a beach episode type arc.
Saucy Jack's!!!!
Oh these are amazing! Love this as a thematic collection too; great work with these.
I started trying to list my favorite moons but realized I was finding things to love about all of them! The societies are fascinating, accessible while maintaining depth, and I'm excited to play with them. Thanks for the great submission!
